Madan Transportation System consists of four operating divisions as follows:

With the branches throughout India, Madan is uniquely qualified to respond to most service demands in India’s key bulk commodity shipping locations and traffic lanes.
In India, Madan operates over 10 Cantors, 10 Eicher and 75 Taurus. Moreover 5 bulk trailers are also operated. Mainly we operate on bulk commodities including (Salt, Iron, Shea Nuts, Maize and Chemicals). Madan utilizes both independent contractors and company drivers. A ratio of approximately 1.1 to 1 independent contractor to company driver is maintained at most times. All independent contractors’ equipment is under lease to Madan and is operated under the same stringent maintenance and safety program as company owned equipment. Drivers for independent contractors are also subject to the same hiring, safety and performance requirements as company drivers.
Many of our drivers and lease operators are using cell phones with two-way capabilities, so we also have good communications links with them,” Without question, the sophisticated communication capabilities are playing an important role in keeping driver seats filled. That's important in the trucking industry today, where driver shortages have become the norm.
We employ full and part-time people, including company drivers and Contract Drivers.

Maintenance program:

Much of the fleet maintenance is handled in-house, and that includes cargo tank inspections and tests. Experts are used for cargo tank repairs. Tractors are scheduled for preventive maintenance service at 10,000-mile intervals, and tank trailers are on a 5,000-mile program.
